Demstar has been awarded the contract to supply the Republic of Cyprus with Canon copier machines for the 2nd year in a row. After the success of the 2008 contract which is issued by the Ministry of Transport and Works of the Republic of Cyprus, in which Demstar was awarded the contract for all four categories, the 2009 contract was again awarded to Demstar in 3 of the 4 issued categories.
The specific contract includes the supply and installation of copier machines as well as the provision of support services, parts and consumables for a period of 7 years. The specific machines are deployed in various government offices across Cyprus. Demstar secured the contract with the award winning Canon IR series machines which have demonstrated an industry leading price/ value proposition from the entry level 18 pages machine to the heavy duty 55 pages and the industry unique color machine coupled with Canon’s well know quality and precision in product development.
The quality and level of support demonstrated by Demstar in deploying the project in 2008 was instrumental for this years’ decision. Last year’s contract was awarded to Demstar in October 2008 and Demstar managed to deploy the machines to all government offices cross Cyprus by December 28th!
