A little about our past.

Established in 1985 as Demstar office Automation through an agreement with IBM to become an Authorized Business Partner for Cyprus. 

In 1987 the cooperation with AT&T was initiated which then developed into the cooperation with Lucent Technologies and now, AVAYA  a leader in the field of Telecommunications and IP Telephony. 

In 1991 an agreement was reached with Hewlett Packard to become an authorized distributor for Cyprus and an authorized HP support center. 

In 1993 an agreement was reached for the distribution of Canon Products. 

In 1993 Demstar established the gaming division and undertook the distribution of Nintendo products.     

Till 2000 Demstar enjoyed a phenomenal growth becoming the largest IT Company in Cyprus.  

In 2001 Demstar merged with 2 other important IT companies forming Demstar information Group, an organization which had the ability to offer the market end-to-end products, solutions and services in the Cyprus ICT market with a professional staff of 180 people. 

This strategic focus has been retained and enhanced till today making Demstar one of the most dynamic and professional companies in the Cyprus ICT industry. 

The company’s chairman is Mr. Michael Colocassides and the CEO is Mr. Stelios Colocassides. 

The majority of the sharers in the company are held by the Colocassides family (62%) with the Petrides family holding (20%) and Mr. Filios Droussiotis the remaining 18%. Mr. Filios Droussiotis is also the Finance Director of the company. 

The company’s headquarters are located in Nicosia in a privately owned building in the Engomi Industrial area.
